Internal strategic analysis

IQAI vs Palantir.

Different centers of gravity.

For IQAI team members, investors, and close partners who ask: “How is IQAI different from Palantir?”

Internal strategic analysis. IQAI is not affiliated with or endorsed by Palantir Technologies. Palantir capabilities referenced here are based on publicly available information.

A different architecture, not a replica.

Palantir is one of the world’s most mature operational intelligence platforms.

IQAI is not attempting to recreate Palantir. IQAI is building a different architecture around governed intelligence: what is known, what is inferred, who or what is qualified to reason, which specialist has authority, and who is permitted to act.

Two centers of gravity.

Palantir

Operational data → Ontology → AI → applications / workflows → action.

IQAI

Intake / evidence → governed world → qualified intelligence → specialist authority → human authorization → action → learning.

Palantir IQAI
Center of gravity Operational data integration and Ontology-driven workflows at enterprise scale. Governed intelligence: evidence, qualification, specialist authority, and human authorization before action.
AI architecture AI embedded in mature platform applications, Ontology, and operational workflows. Qualified cognitive roles, specialist intelligence, and Brain layers separated from institutional authority.
World & evidence Ontology as the operational world model; strong enterprise data object integration. Digital world with explicit evidence, provenance, baseline vs hypothesis, and claim semantics.
Specialist intelligence Platform applications, analytics, and AI-assisted workflows across domains. Named specialist domains (TRACE, Spatial, Atmosphere, HazMat, and others) with authority boundaries.
Learning & competency Platform evolution, customer deployment learning, and operational refinement at scale. Academy, Scout, Brain and Specialist Passports, and institution-owned competency with requalification.
Sovereign deployment Mature sovereign and classified deployment options across government and enterprise. Sovereign / client-controlled deployment is a design priority; production maturity is still being built.
Security Enterprise-grade permissions, audit, and deployment security at proven scale. Client-controlled data, evidence lineage, controlled action, and trust boundaries under active design.
Current maturity Among the most mature operational intelligence platforms in market today. Early-stage platform with differentiated architecture in development; several layers built or partially implemented.

Palantir is currently stronger in mature data integration, Ontology, permissions, deployment, APIs, observability, and enterprise-scale operations. IQAI acknowledges that gap explicitly and does not claim parity on platform maturity today.

Availability does not equal authority.

IQAI does not intend to give an AI model operational authority merely because the model is available or technically capable.

Model path

MODEL → BRAIN ROLE → QUALIFICATION → ELIGIBLE FOR WORK

Specialist path

SPECIALIST → AUTHORITY DOMAIN → EVIDENCE REQUIREMENTS → QUALIFIED RESULT

Models may be replaced while institutional evidence, knowledge, memory, procedures, tools, permissions, qualifications, and human authority remain outside the model.

Governed intelligence layers.

A brief map of the larger IQAI architecture. Status reflects current engineering reality — not every element is fully implemented.

FUNNEL universal intake

Structured entry point for heterogeneous evidence and operational inputs.

Partial

Sensor / Stream intake

Live and batch ingestion from sensors, feeds, and operational streams.

Partial

Evidence & Provenance

Claim-level evidence, source lineage, and audit-ready records.

Built

Digital World

Governed world state separating observation, inference, and simulation.

Architected

Spatial / GEOINT

Place, time, imagery, and geospatial reasoning within IQAI Spatial.

Built

Artificial Brain / Cognitive Federation

Multi-model reasoning with structured deliberation and review layers.

Partial

Mission Brain + Review / Challenger Brain

Mission-oriented reasoning with independent challenge and review paths.

Architected

Specialist Intelligence

TRACE, Spatial, Atmosphere, HazMat, Camera/Sensor, Remote Sensing, AI/Perception, deterministic/scientific engines, and human SMEs.

Partial

Academy / Scout

Continuous learning, qualification, and competency development.

Proposed

Sovereign deployment

Client-controlled deployment with strong data and operational boundaries.

Architected

Human-authorized action

Action gated by qualified results and explicit human authorization.

Architected

Learn from what has already been solved.

IQAI intends to independently adopt proven architectural lessons from Palantir — not to replicate the company, but to apply what the market has already validated.

Operational ontology

Durable object models that connect data to decisions and workflows.

Data integration

Enterprise-scale ingestion, normalization, and operational data pipelines.

Permissions

Fine-grained access control aligned to roles, objects, and actions.

Deployment / rollback

Controlled release, rollback, and environment management at operational scale.

Observability

Platform visibility into system behavior, usage, and operational health.

APIs / SDKs

Programmatic access and developer surfaces for integration and extension.

Durable workflows

Long-running operational processes with audit and state persistence.

Geospatial integration

Spatial data and map-centric operations embedded in the platform.

Engineering focus areas.

Evidence / claim semantics

Explicit representation of what is known, inferred, and unsupported.

Baseline vs hypothesis / reconstruction / simulation

Clear separation between observed state, modeled state, and counterfactual analysis.

Qualified cognitive roles

Brain roles with defined scope, not open-ended model authority.

Specialist authority

Domain-bound authority for named specialist intelligence types.

Brain and Specialist Passports / requalification

Portable qualification records and periodic requalification requirements.

Institution-owned competency

Competency, memory, and procedures owned by the institution — not embedded in a model.

Governed disagreement / independent review

Structured challenge, peer review, and preserved disagreement records.

Sovereign cross-vendor federation

Client-controlled federation across models, tools, and vendors without single-vendor lock-in.

Trust boundaries by design.

IQAI is being designed around client-controlled data, sovereign deployment, identity and permissions, evidence and audit lineage, controlled action, and strong trust boundaries between reasoning, authorization, and execution.

Quantum eMotion — proposed / architected security and cryptographic partner integration. Production implementation and independent validation remain required.

We are not building a smaller Palantir.

Palantir is the benchmark for operational-platform maturity. IQAI is concentrating differentiated engineering on governed intelligence: who is qualified to reason, what evidence supports a conclusion, which specialist has authority, which world state the conclusion applies to, and who is permitted to act.
